During that time, the hotel was much more than a simple accommodation space. It was the frontline where macroeconomic trends collided in real-time, and a microcosm of life where people made fierce choices between dreams and reality. Inside this small society called a hotel, I personally experienced profound shifts of an era:

The truth I realized while operating a hotel firsthand is clear. Anyone can make money when the economy is booming and everything is favorable. True skill and a true business person are determined by "what choices are made during difficult times."
